1st to 3rd Grade Program

Kanesville Elementry does a play with the 4th t0 6th graders every year and they also do a program with the 1st to 3rd graders. Tanner was involved with his class in the 1st to 3rd grade program. It was the beginning of March and it was a patriotic program and they talked about the Presidents of the US. They did such a great job and it was exciting to see Tanner singing to all the songs. I was amazed at all the songs they learned. One funny/sad thing that happen, they lined the 1st graders against one wall of the auditorium at Fremont High and then the 2nd graders at the other wall then the 3rd graders were on the stage to begin. All three grades got set up on the stage and the HAFB Color Guard came and then when the 1st and 2nd graders were going off the stage so that the 3rd graders could do their part of the program, a kid in Tanners class threw up on the stage. One of the teachers took her jacket and covered it up. The show went on and a little bit later during the program a janitor came and cleaned it up since it was off to the side and not in the middle of the stage he was able to take care of it and when all three grades came back together it was all cleaned up so everyone could again do that last few songs together to end the program. I felt bad for the poor kid, and needless to say Tanner said the kid was not at school the next day. As the janitor was rolling his mob and bucket away Brlyee as loud as can be said "The kid throwed up huh!" All the people around us kind of chuckled inside. We took a few treats for Brylee to keep her quite and needless to say next time it may not be blue laughy taffys. She is still a cutie with her blue mouth/tongue.
