Friend Birthday Party

We finally gave in and did a friend/neighborhood birthday party for Tanner this year. We did a scavenger hunt and they had to do all the clues and then at the end we ate cake and open presents. I think it was a success and the kids had a fun time. It was kind of chaotic, but it was a lot of fun. We had a hard time on the guest list as Tanner is a very social kid and has lots of friends, but we stuck with only friends this year with no cousins since we will be doing his baptism with family/friends. We had I think 26 kids that was counting Tanner and Brylee; and out of all we invited only two kids couldn't come. Tanner wanted a guitar cake again this year, I had made one in the past for him, but he wanted one that looked like his real guitar, so I did it and thought it turned out pretty darn cute. At first he said he wanted brownies, and I was going to be sad thinking he is growing out of wanting cute cakes. I sure enjoy making them even though they are not perfect they are cute and make my kids happy.
