Park
Tanner had his first baseball practice tonight so Brylee and I hung out at the park while they practiced. This year he gets to actually play on a real baseball field doing machine pitch instead of setting up the bases on the grass of the field in the park. Of course I had my camera and had to snapped a few cute pictures of her while she was playing. I hope to have many more days at the park, if it would ONLY QUIT RAINING!!!

GUYS NIGHT
The Boys had a guys night out since our Spring Break Camping Trip got rain/snowed out I found a great deal on KSL for some lower bowl Jazz tickets so Jason could take Tanner to a game a couple of weeks ago. Tanner is quite the Jazz fan and loves watching games with his Dad, or maybe it is just an excuse to stay up late, I think it is both. They had a blast together! The other day after Jason got home from work while I was getting dinner ready they played some ball in the drive way. A neighbor saw them playing and we saw her at the store the next day and she said, Tanner has quite the moves on the court, he is going to be beating his Dad here soon. Tanner had a big grin on his face when she said that and kind of turned his head being shy. I think if he keeps the way he is going he will be quite the little player. Basketball is his ultimate favorite sport he says and I do enjoy watching him play too.

Amazing SPRING Skiing
We made it. We finally found a BEAUTIFUL day that Jason could even go skiing with us to replace our yucky day that was too windy so the ski resort ended up not opening. Thanks to Curt who got us tickets: Leda, Curt, Tanner, Jason, and I went up to Powder Mountain skiing. We are grateful for his generosity he works on the lights up at the resort and does electrical work when needed and he gets a season pass and then gets extra passes he shares. We were glad he shared with us. It had snowed the few days before we went and so Jason was in Powder heaven. I took Tanner so Jason, Curt, and Leda could hit the powder runs. Tanner did awesome and is a natural. We took the bungee to put at the tip of the skis, but it kept coming off the first run down so the second run I put it in my pocket and he did GREAT! He did a lot more falls at first as I had to keep telling him to turn from one side to the other side of the hill instead of get going too fast and falling. One run just before lunch I could not get his ski back on and I think it took like 15 minutes finally a ski patrol stopped and asked if I needed help and then it clicked on. Dang he should have came earlier then the ski would gave popped on. Isn't that how it always is though. Tanner and I were both frustrated at that point and headed off to lunch. I am not the most patient person and I did have to apologize to Tanner for being a mean Mom! Tanner was mad at me said it was my fault because I took him down too hard of a run. Tanner said he didn't want to ski anymore because he was falling a lot more then he usually has, but it was a good lesson to teach him. On the long lift ride I talked to him a little about life. When something gets hard you just give up, is that what we do? He said no. I told him life gets hard and we fall a lot and have a hard time getting up sometimes, but we just get up and go down that hill again and don't give up just because it gets a little tough. And we have those people helping us along the way too. After we were an hour late for meeting them for lunch we finally met up with the others and skied with them for the rest of the day of course with them detouring to the powder areas on some runs. Thanks again Uncle Curt, we love you!!
Brylee stayed with Grandma and Grandpa Bowen and Grandma Great was even in town. She had a fun time and didn't want to come home when we went to get her. Grandma has some fun blocks and she wouldn't let them ruin it because she had to show us her castle she created and it didn't matter that it was right in the middle of the floor and everyone had to walk around it all day.
Tanner and I were also lucky enough to do one last trip Night Skiing last Saturday, My camera was having issues, so when I get the pictures from Curt I will post them. Tanner didn't fall at all and he did so good with the poles and had good control. I had a fun date night with him.

Dogs, Dress-up, & Dolls
Three of Brylee's FAVORITE Things
Dogs
Brylee said to me today we were cleaning up the living room and I said "Oh you better pick up these doggies before they become mine!" Brylee responded "Mom but you don't like Dogs!" I said "That is true I don't." she said "And we can't have a dog until we are grown up and have our house and can take care and pay for it yourself, huh!" YUP!!! I am a MEAN Mom, I don't want a dog or any pets. One more thing that needs to be taken care of and cleaned up after, fed, taken to the vet/groomer, etc. Jason and I have a pinkie swear that we will not get any pets. Well besides our fish we had, that was very much low maintenance when we had that. I love that other people love pets, but not for me. Marci and Alex have a dog that she loves when we go see them that she can play with and pet.
Dress-up
She is surely a little princess and loves to dress up! She is very creative and had a lot of fun dressing up. So many times during the day when we are home she will get into the dress up and put a pretty princess dress on. We have a little Dog costume I got from the DI that she loves to pretend to be a dog and when she was a lot smaller I had a little dog back pack that would wrap around her with a leash type thing attached and she uses that and puts it on her and pretends too. She will hook herself to the door handle like she is tied up and everything. Very cute. I am glad she likes to dress up and pretend.
Dolls
Ok Babies and Baby Dolls. She LOVES Babies. She is always asking me to hold Lily when we see them and now that she is more active Lily still is a very calm good baby so she just lets Brylee hold her. Brylee will love having a girl cousin on the Ray side of the family close to play with when Lily gets a little older. I hope she loves baby dolls and dress up just as much as Brylee!
Brylee loves playing with her baby dolls, she is so gentle and loving to them. I hear her talking to them just like we talk to babies too. She will be a good Mommy one day!

Spring Break or Snow Break
Cute Kiddo's with their snowman
Tanner wanted to be the one to destroy his master piece!
We were suppose to be camping instead of snowed in all day. Is this Spring Break or Snow Break? Today I made breakfast then we just hung out and then when it really started coming down the kids wanted to go out and play. I had even taken the snow box downstairs out of the way thinking it was no longer needed. Late afternoon it started looking like it should have all weekend. Tanner did a good job at his snowman. He got the sled and put the snowballs on and slid them over to the snowman, I thought that was pretty creative. I headed out to run some errands and the store and Jason stayed home with the kids and let them play outside. I was getting ready to leave and Brylee came in to get some better gloves and said "Dad, you want to come build a snowman with us? Come on Dad get your snowman stuff on!" I was pretty impressed with the master piece when I got home and it is always fun to see a snowman in the yard. After the picture was taken he wanted to be the one to destroy it. I think it was because he didn't want someone else to destroy it. One year we had built a snowman and we built one in the neighbors yard as well and the next day he was heartbroken that someone destroyed both of them. So I guess he thought he would be involved in the fun of destroying it himself. I actually cooked dinner tonight as well, I can't believe it two real meals in a day. I hope to have this more of a habit in the future. I just started getting organized today to start using coupons more. I only used 2 coupons in my shopping trip today. (I got 3 deodorants for $1.45, I know that is not the best deal ever like in extreme couponing, but I am just re-learning, it has been a while since I have used coupons. I am getting pointers from my sister and sister-in-law whom are the pro's.) We eat out way to much. Most of the time it is just fast food, but it still gets expensive. I stocked up last weekend at Kent's Meat Sale and need to do inventory on my food storage and get a few things at the Case lot sale going on at Macey's, but more then anything I am going to start using coupons at least on the things we use to save a little more. I won't tell you how OCD I am and what I have done thus far to get organized.
