Spring Fever

OK-it has been forever I know and I wanted to do a post about Easter and pictures with my kids cute new church outfits. Then I wanted to post about my new office downstairs thanks to the hard work of Jason's perfect work and the carpet by Nelson and finish electric work from Colby, and much patience from myself. And as you can see it never happened, and maybe I still will later but if not you know I was thinking about it anyway.
It is spring and I love it and love that the kids get to go play outside more and it is getting warmer and no longer coat weather. I love the tulips and daffodils and fun spring flowers that start to bloom. I love flowers and someday my husband may get the hint and start surprising me with flowers, hint hint to those who know my husband to put a bug in his ear. hee hee Oh well I planted tulips last year and they are beautiful. But one of my favorite newly started last year traditions is the Girls Only couple of days away to Women's Conference. So yes it is that time of year again and I am excited to go and relax and spent time with my Mom, Sister(Jenna), Sister-in-law(Jami), Cousin(Leslie), & Aunt Darla. It was only three of us last year and this year we grew three more people so we will see what the next year brings. Jason took a couple of days off so he didn't have to worry about getting here and there the kids at daycare, so I hope he has some fun plans to do with the kids. I am sure Tanner will con him into many things like going to McDonald's since I never take him there. Tanner learned long ago Mom doesn't do McDonald's, I just can't only when they get to pick for a birthday then I don't have a choice. We won't get into my McDonald theories I may offend and wouldn't want to do that. Good Luck Jason!
ENJOY SPRING!!

Where is Brylee?

It is a mystery when I put Brylee down for a nap, when I go to check on her where will she be? If she is not tired she just gets out of bed and plays and then falls asleep in action. Here are a few of the cute and funny pictures of where we have found her.

My favorite-
In her baby doll Cradle-that just can't be comfortable!

In Closet a couple different times!

Chillin in her Chair with her Baby!

In her bed, WOW, surrounded by her babies & sitting up!

On the floor a few times surrounded by her toys!

ADOPTED FAMILY

It isn't very often that you find another couple with kids the exact or close to the same age and the husbands get along great and the wives get along great. Well it had never happenned to us until two years ago. We had been in the same Ward as Amy & Garret for about nine months when they first moved in we had a play date with the boys, but other then that it was just talked on Sundays and so forth. Brylee was born and they brought us dinner and that is when it really all started. When we lived in the same ward we would go on walks together hang out at each others houses and spend quite a bit of time together. Then they moved. Then about four months later we moved. I am so grateful that we are all still friends and that our kids are the best of friends as well. Tanner and Ridge are only about two weeks apart in age and Austin is only six months older then Brylee. Poor Ty will be without a friend because no plans for a baby on our part. He definately will get the most attention though, and I get to hold him all I want. It is funny because I have not had friend birthday parties for my kids, I just am holding off as long as I can if you know what I mean. This last year was the first year Tanner was wanting a few of the boys in our neighborhood to come to his birthday. I said to him, "we only are going to have a family party, maybe next year." his response back to me was "well Ridge isn't family and they come to our parties." Well ok I got caught they arn't family, but close enough they really feel like family. I am greatful for the close relationships we have and our kids have as well. I wish we lived closer, but at least we still get together after both being moved for over a year. Here are some fun pictures of eating pizza and bowling together.

DISNEY ON ICE

MICKEY AND MINNIE'S MAGICAL ADVENTURE

We took the kids to Disney on Ice and they both loved it!! I think Jason and I enjoyed it as much as the kids, especially watching the faces of the kids. A few times we would look at each other and smile because we were both looking at the kids excitement. I loved Disney movies growing up and still do and it was fun remembering a few of the songs that were my favorite from the Little Mermaid & the Lion King. This years Disney on ice theme was Mickey and Minnie's Magical Adventure takes a journey into the magical worlds of Disney's Little Mermaid, Lion King, Lilo & Stitch, & Peter Pan. I asked Tanner what his favorite part was and he said "All of it!" I think Brylees favorite part was eating her slush, because she cried half way home because we dumped it out just before we got into the car. She was very cute and didn't get restless until the very end. We ate at Crown Burger just down the street so we could park for free and walked over to Energy Solutions, Brylee walked the whole way and did not want to be carried, I don't think she knew what or where we were going, she was just happy to be out I guess. On the way home they both zonked out and so we knew they had an fun night that tuckered them right out. Of course I had to capture on camera both walking as I love the butt shots and I love the peacefully sleeping ones too.

DYLAN & JENNA/CHANDLER
I was lucky to be pregnant at the same time as a very close cousin, so of course my little girl and her little boy are the best of buds and I can't believe they are now both two. We had a fun day celebrating Bodie's Birthday with Pizza, Nachos, Sledding, and Elmo Cupcakes. Leslie and I took a cake decorating class, her cupcakes turned out so cute. And Elmo is Bodies favorite so of course gotta do what the kids love huh!! Just included some fun pictures of the Day, sorry so many, just too many fun cute ones I couldn't resist!! I have to admit I think I am one of those selfish mothers that want to be in on the fun too. I think I had just as much fun as they did. I was the loudest one going down the hill, it is just much funner when you scream as you go down, really it is try it next time. We were racing down and a few of the kids just kept on wanting to race again, they were determined to beat me down, but I guess the weight helps you go faster. hee hee!! What a blessing to have such a great family, my kids love hanging out with cousins which helps because I like hanging out with there cousins parents. It was a fun day, but would have been even funner if Daddy didn't have to work Saturdays and could have come and enjoy the fun.

Just before the race down w/my kiddos
Daddy's Girls!!
I do have to add as well, last week Jason and I were able to go help with the WSU Celebrating Marriage Conference and it was awesome, I volunteered to help facilitate one of the classes and hope to do it next year too!!!! Grandma/pa Ray watched the kids so we could go and they were going to take them out to dinner to Sizzler and the kids were excited and no sign that the kids were sick at all until they were waiting in line to be seated when Grandma Ray was holding Brylee and she threw up all over herself, Grandma, Grandma's Purse and Sizzler floor. It would have been on Tanner too if he would not have moved just a second before. Grandma rushed out while Grandpa broke the news to Sizzler workers so they could clean up the mess before any other customers had to leave and throw up themselves. Grandma said one lady said "Its ok it has happened to us before too." Another lady felt so bad she came up to her and said "Can I help you at all clean up?" That was nice of the lady, I don't think I would have offered to help clean up someone elses throw up. I have a hard enough time not throwing up when someone else is. I felt so bad when I went to pick up the kids and got the news. Grandma got some good cuddle time with Brylee so that was nice for her. Tanner loves hanging out with Grandpa Ray and bugs him to go to the store to help close the store and for a special treat, or for a ride up to the canal to look for deer or see all the cool construction equipment when the are working on it.

Sisters

My Sistas from other Mothers! My biological sister is a best friend, but today I spent some time with some friends I hope to never lose contact with.
Wow it is amazing what good friends can do for a person. You don't realize what good friends you have until you spend a little time with them and then they leave and you wish they could stay longer. That is when yo unknown you have good friends.
It started out quite a few years ago, I am going to date myself aren't I by saying the year we all met. Ok it was the Fall of 1994 and 1995 college. I first met my best friend for life, Diana we were in a college class together and our friendship just grew from there. And if I wanted to hang out with her on Wednesdays I had to join her sorority that she was in and so of course I pledged I think it was Winter or Spring Quarter and that is where I met a few of my other very dear friends that I will have forever as well Heidi and Susan. We have all been trying to make more of an effort to get together more often. We got together as Susie had a baby and visited her and this month we had the playdate at my house, and I loved being the host.
I am thankful for having such great friends and I hope we can continue more then once a year getting together as they do make me want to be a better person when I am around them. Thank you friends for your friendships, the fun we have enjoying one another company, laughing, and just being ourselves.
I found a scrapbook page Dinner Dance 1999 of the four of us , and so thought I would scan it as yes digital cameras didn't exist then, look how dang cute we are and reminds me of all the fun memories of college life when I was looking through my scrapbook!!! Love you guys.
