WHAT A PLACE!! The last time I went to Causey Reservoir was when I was in college with friends and we won't say how long ago that was. OK it was after my mission, so really not that long ago, but I will say probably over 10 years. Kelsea and Adam Price are our friends that invited us to go with them, they have a kayak and so do we so we all went up together. We started off on the wrong track when we took the kayaks off the top of the car and Jason said "Did you get the Ores?" "NOPE!" Thank goodness my Aunt and Uncle live in Huntsville and so he ran to their house and borrowed theirs. It was BEAUTIFUL!! Their is something about being in the mountains. No cellphone service, good friends, peace, calm and relaxing. It was a lot of fun and I even got to hold the baby for probably an hour while she slept and her parents went for a ride. I am hoping to make it up to Causey again before Summer is over.
Can I go next time you go up to Causey???? The pictures are so beautiful and I would love to try out my skills at kayaking. You guys are always on a fun vacation or day trip. Im looking forward to our next Lagoon date. - Diana
