The Ultimate Gift

Here is a picture of my two precious Gifts!! They are my world!! I am excited for the day that they are older and will do the fun cute things for Mothers Day that kids do. Tanner is a very helpful little one already and he did draw me a cute picture and posted it on my work board in my office & his school did do a cute hot pad with his handprints on them with a cute poem. Jason at church to entertain him did a cute tracing of the hand and wrote something with it too. I am thankful for my Mom and Dad for teaching me, and Jason’s parents for teaching him the right way. I am especially at this time with it being mothers day yesterday, thankful for my Mom and my Mother-in-law they are the best grandmas kids could ask for. They both have such great qualities like humility, unconditional Love, gratitude, great examples of service and testimony of the Gospel.

If you have never seen the movie "The Ultimate Gift" you need to rent it, it is well worth watching. Tanner even watched it all the way through. I won’t give the whole movie away, but we should all teach our children these twelve gifts, then they are sure to make it in this evil world, not to the extent the movie did, but you know. I thought it went well with the gospel teachings and teaching our children as well.
The Gift of………Work
The Gift of ………Money (How to save, serve, & spend wisely)
The Gift of ………Friends
The Gift of……….Learning
The Gift of……….Problems (Don’t begin to live until you’ve lost everything)
The Gift of……….Family
The Gift of………. Laughter
The Gift of………..Dreams
The Gift of……….Giving
The Gift of……….Gratitude
The Gift of……….A Day
The Gift of……….Love!!!
The perfect example is our Savior, Jesus Christ. If we follow him and use the gifts we were given to expand our gifts the blessings we will receive will be great. I hope I can be a good example and teach my children so they can be strong in these days that are so much harder for the kids. I don’t remember all the evil that is going on now a days when I was younger. I can’t imagine how it will be when my kids will be in high school. I know that I am not perfect by any means, but with the help of my Savior someday I will see him and I hope I can give him a big hug and he may say to me. “Well done thou good and faithful servant.”

My cousin left this link on her blog and as I was writing this I thought it went well with my thoughts, take a look at the video of Christ. (Thanks Mignon)
