The Man of the Day-Eliot

What a special day it was a few weeks ago and I know I am late at getting this posted, but I just downloaded the pictures and thought I would post these as it was a day that was unknown if it would come with the struggles this little guy has gone through.

Eliot was born at 1 lb 11 oz and they Foit family thought that was tough until three years ago he was diagnosed with Lukemia. His three year treatments ended in January. On March 17th he turned 8 and on March 29, 2008 he was baptized by his Dad. Even though Brylee kept me standing or out most of the time it was such a special day to be apart of. Eliot came out of the water and said "Wow, that was fun!" The three boys sang "I am a child of God" and that was my favorite part. I love music and the strong spirit I feel from good music. I love when I hear children sing, so it was so touching to see the three cute guys sing, they did great!!!
What a good example that Eliot and Tanners other cousins that have been baptized in the past are for him and Brylee!! I am so thankful for our families and the close relationships I have with them. I don't know what I would do without family!!

  1. Thanks for sharing the pictures. I wanted to go sooo bad, but there was no way the kids were going to last through two baptism in one day. I am glad Kent was able to go and represent the fam. Thanks for your sweet comments. It was so good to see you at RS. Thanks for bringing Shirley with you. Sorry I haven't called you back. I always think about it at crazy times and thought you would perfer not a phone call at 2am.
